About:
Mack’s Mugs is a pottery studio nestled in the picturesque Kawarthas in Ontario cottage country. Mackenzie, the potter, specializes in teaching children’s programs, making practical stoneware pieces, and custom ceramic tile. She uses straw from her chicken coop and local hardwoods to pit fire her lamp collection and is inspired through her work as a gardener and ecologist for her earthy and eclectic glaze composition. Clay, after all, is only earth.
